The existing dwelling is an understated spec-build single-storey home with the benefit of a huge attic space, which it is proposed will house the new kitchen / living / dining-space from which views in all 4 cardinal directions are available – East to the Saltee’s, West towards Dunmore East, North to Loftus Hall, Ireland’s most-haunted house, and South to the Hook Head Lighthouse, the oldest operational lighthouse in the world.
