A house for a client on an extremely sensitive site on the Iveragh Peninsula. The site, adjacent to an old harbour, contained a number of small stone ruins. Working with the local authority we have examined various approaches to retaining and supplementing the existing structures to provide a modest, contemporary home for our client that sits gently in the landscape and brings these structures back to life.
