An extension to the rear of a mid-century semi-d. The extension wraps around a courtyard to retain natural daylight to the original dining-room & the new spaces arranged around. The rear facade is chamfered to draw light into the plan and provide a high-ceilinged living-space as a final room in the house. A frameless skylight, a picture window & bench seat and a glass-to-glass corner to the courtyard emphasise space & light.
