Saint Peter’s Terrace feature in Irish Times

Our Saint Peter’s Terrace project was featured in the Home & Design section of The Irish Times.

Saint Peter’s Terrace is an early 20th-century planned development of workers’ cottages located to the west of the historic core of Howth Village. The project involves the restoration and extension of one of these period cottages, with a design approach rooted in careful refurbishment of the original fabric.

Modestly scaled interventions and extensions were introduced to support a sustainable and contemporary home while respecting the character of the existing building. The design was informed by the original site morphology, materials, and the relationships between street, house, garden, and lane, ensuring that new elements sit comfortably within the established context.

The project reflects a considered approach to working within a historic residential setting, balancing conservation with adaptation to meet the needs of modern living without compromising the integrity of the original cottage.

We are very grateful to The Irish Times for featuring the project in their Home & Design section and for the opportunity to share Saint Peter’s Terrace with their readers.
