Client Feedback

★★★★★
“We engaged Brennan Furlong to transform our 100 year old home in Clontarf. Our architect from the start knew that we needed to balance new and old, within a budget, and guide us to a family home that was ambitious for us while meeting our needs. The path to a new home is not without it's ups and downs, and Brennan Furlong helped us navigate the design and build, and are still there to support us when needed long after we moved in. We would have no hesitation in recommending Brennan Furlong after our experience.”
Aoife Donnelly, Home Owner | Seafield, Clontarf

The project involved a comprehensive refurbishment, re-organisation and extension of an existing semi-detached dwelling to create a modern family home. Retaining side-access to the rear garden while taking full advantage of the space above suggested the form of the side extension, while a sense of space and light to the extension to the rear, housing the kitchen, living and dining areas is created by stepping down the floor level towards the garden and forming a mono-pitch ceiling above with exposed timber and brick used to create warmth and scale.
