New House, DUBLIN 16
A new house in a side garden. The existing house was, in itself, previously a house in a side garden. A public sewer running across the site establishes the line of the facade. Spectacular views of the Dublin Mountains to the east suggested a living space be positioned at first floor level. The house angles mid-way along its plan and re-orients itself southwards, wrapping around an enclosed courtyard garden.
Full planning permission for this project was secured in 2016.
